About Me
Mathazzar Studios is the personal company of Marius Masalar, an enterprising composer for media with a passion for expressing his ideas and thoughts in creative and mostly non-harmful ways.
After discovering the joy of music through playing and arranging simple game tunes on the piano, Marius decided to try writing his own music, and before long he was producing tracks and getting them into actual games. From there, it soon became clear that scoring for media was a great passion, and simple game tunes soon turned into more sophisticated music for bigger games, theater productions, and eventually film as Marius continued to learn from his experiences and hone his composition and computer music production skills. Mathazzar Studios was born when it became apparent that media composition was going to be Marius' career.
Currently pursuing a degree in Radio & Television Arts at Ryerson University in Toronto, Marius continues to work diligently on music projects — often more than school ones — and dedicates much of his spare time to learning more about the business and craft of media composition. He always aims to bring a level of professionalism and skill to his clients that exceeds expectations.
